Family therapy
Family therapy
For families of two, three or four generations who want to talk with someone from outside.
In a family session we talk about what happens in the home: who decides, who listens, what is said in Spanish and what is said in English. Not everyone has to come to every session.

How it works, step by step
What sessions look like
They last 80 minutes. Your therapist gives each person a turn and helps keep the conversation from turning into an argument.
The method
Systemic family therapy: we look at the family as a whole, not at one person alone. Your therapist explains how they work in the first session.
What this is not
It is not an evaluation or a court report, and it is not a place to decide who is right.
Length and frequency
Your therapist sets the pace with the family. We do not promise a number of sessions.
How it is paid
The fee is explained in writing before you start, with a Good Faith Estimate if you pay without insurance.
A first step
Message us on WhatsApp or call and we will work out together who comes to the first session.
Three questions
Does everyone have to come?
No. You can begin with one or two people and add others later, or alternate who attends.
Can children come?
Yes, with a parent or guardian present. Your therapist explains in writing how privacy works with minors.
What language are sessions in?
In whatever each person prefers: Spanish, English or both in the same conversation.
Who would like to come?
Message us on WhatsApp or call, and we will set up the first session together.
