Therapy

Three ways to begin, one place

All of them are held in Spanish, English or both. Your therapist sets the pace with you; we do not promise a number of sessions.

  • Family therapy

Two, three or four generations, together or in turns.

    • 80-minute sessions

    • You decide who comes

    See family therapy
  • Couples therapy

Two people who want to talk with someone who takes no side.

    • 80-minute sessions

    • In person or by video

    See couples therapy
  • Individual therapy

One adult, one conversation at a time, without hurry.

    • 50-minute sessions

How we work

A conversation in the language of the home

In many Miami families, people speak Spanish with the grandparents, English with the grandchildren and both at once in the kitchen. At Respite nobody has to choose: everyone talks the way it comes, and your therapist follows the conversation.

  • Sessions at the office or by video

  • Spanish, English or both at once

  • How it is paid, explained before you start
